Medical Marijuana Caregivers Association of El Dorado County (MMCA) incorporated in January 2004 as a nonprofit corporation to provide medical marijuana to qualified patients according to the guidance of California Senate Bill 420, which was intended to clarify implementation of Proposition 215.
As a collective, MMCA provided the full spectrum of medical cannabis products through in-house production, along with help and advice for the medical needs of our members. Most importantly as a collective, MMCA offered a safe and secure venue for our members to associate with other patients.
Now entering our 20th year, MMCA has grown into El Dorado County's trusted licensed dispensary — serving both adult recreational customers (21+) and medical marijuana patients (18+ with a valid doctor's recommendation). We remain committed to the same principles that guided us from the start: safe access, honest guidance, and community.
We believe cannabis access should be honest, straightforward, and welcoming. Every product on our menu is lab-tested and sourced from trusted licensed providers. Our prices always include tax, so there are no surprises at checkout. Our budtenders are here to guide you — whether you're a daily consumer or visiting a dispensary for the very first time.
Located in Cameron Park, we serve neighbors from Shingle Springs, Placerville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills and throughout the surrounding foothills. As a small, locally owned operation, the community is the reason we're here — and we're grateful to have grown alongside it for two decades.
